Since it first launched back in 2016, Dead by Daylight has continued to bring some of the biggest names in pop culture to its world. The asymmetrical horror hit is no stranger to crossovers, as it's one of the biggest draws of Dead by Daylight. Over the years, plenty of horror icons have made their way into the game, and there's no sign of these major collaborations stopping anytime soon.

As the years have passed, Dead by Daylight's crossovers have even gone beyond classic horror franchises. Between the likes of Nicolas Cage and brands like Dungeons & Dragons, it's clear that Dead by Daylight isn't solely focused on traditional horror. Because of the game's willingness to branch out beyond its genre, it wouldn't be surprising if Star Wars was eventually added to the mix.

Star Wars' Current Crossover Streak Should Open the Doors to a Dead by Daylight Collaboration

Star Wars is On a Roll With Live-Service Titles

Recently, Star Wars has announced crossovers with Fortnite, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Destiny 2. Over the years, Star Wars has been featured in plenty of live-service games. Its partnership with Fortnite has become a yearly event to celebrate Star Wars Day, while crossovers with titles like Fall Guys have presented fun opportunities to showcase the franchise in a new light. It seems as though Star Wars is willing to take on as many crossovers as possible, if the game seems like the right fit, and the Sith could serve as the perfect excuse to get into the dark world of Dead by Daylight.

The recent Star Wars Celebration event announced some exciting new Star Wars projects, like Star Wars: Starfighter and Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord.

Sith That Would Make the Best Killers in Dead by Daylight

  • Darth Vader
  • Darth Maul
  • Emperor Palpatine
  • General Grievous
  • Darth Revan
  • Darth Nihilus
  • Starkiller

There is a deep well of powerful and beloved Sith characters that Dead by Daylight could use as Star Wars-inspired Killers. Beyond that, notable heroes like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Padme, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan, and Chewbacca would be clear choices as Survivors.

Star Wars is filled with great characters, and seeing the likes of iconic heroes working to escape major franchise villains could be a great way to breathe new life into the game. Not only that, but there is also great potential for gameplay options. Lightsabers and force powers basically serve as a clear blueprint of how these theoretical Killers could work. It's not hard to imagine a scenario where Darth Vader is Force choking a Survivor who was seconds from escaping. If Star Wars were to ever come to Dead by Daylight, it would definitely be a brand-new way to experience the franchise, which could be exciting for both longtime players and lovers of the sci-fi series.

Kylo Ren could be another strong option as a Killer in Dead by Daylight, despite not being part of the formal Sith Order.

Star Wars Shows No Signs of Slowing Down Its Crossovers

There's no telling what other games Star Wars will collaborate with. Of course, there are the more obvious possibilities, like Kingdom Hearts 4, but past crossovers with titles like Fall Guys and Angry Birds prove that even the most unexpected games can get the Star Wars treatment.

Right now, there isn't any sign that Star Wars will ever come to Dead by Daylight, but if that day ever arrives, it will be fascinating to see which characters are chosen and how their gameplay is handled. Only time will tell, but a Dead by Daylight crossover with Star Wars isn't nearly as outlandish of an idea as it may seem.
