While Jedi: Survivor received praise for some of its innovations over the first game, a significant issue for some players was performance on both consoles and PC. Specifically, Respawn released a new patch for the PS5 version of Jedi: Survivor. This latest update for the game aims to address issues players on PS5 Pro have been dealing with since the release of the upgraded console. According to the patch notes, the game has been updated to support the latest version of PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), the AI upscaling technology utilized on PS5 Pro.

In addition to this change, the update looks to improve certain elements of the game's environments, including reduced foliage flickering on PS5 Pro. The river on Koboh in Jedi: Survivor should also have better reflections, which is a notable improvement, considering the planet is a frequent stop for players. Finally, the update reduced flickering in volumetric fog, which can be prevalent in some areas.

These changes should make for a better visual experience when playing Jedi: Survivor on PS5 Pro. The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™, a third person galaxy-spanning action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
