The maps in Star Wars Outlaws are packed with treasures, but one collectible, the Daroona House Treasure, has left some players puzzled. The treasure marker appears on the map when exploring the South Jundland Wastes on Tatooine, yet there seems to be no way into the house.
Star Wars Outlaws: All Mos Algo Treasure Locations
The Mos Algo area in Star Wars Outlaws is packed with secrets; here’s how you can uncover the hidden treasure chests in this location.
What many Star Wars Outlaws players may not realize is that the Daroona House treasure is linked to a separate quest, which becomes available only after completing certain main quests on Tatooine. To clear up the confusion, here's a guide to help you loot the Daroona House treasure with ease.

To unlock the door of Daroona House and loot the treasure, you must first complete the Defector quest. Once completed, the area around the house will become Crimson Dawn territory. Only then can you use the Data Spike to break into Daroona House and steal the treasure.
If your reputation with Crimson Dawn is poor, you may need to steal the treasure stealthily or eliminate the guards nearby first.
The Daroona House treasure will appear on the map before the Defector quest begins, which might confuse some players into searching for ways to steal it early. However, the door to the house will remain locked until you complete the required mission.
How to Complete the Defector Quest
- Start the quest by talking to EE’zok. She can be found in the Bestine Sabacc Parlor on planet Tatooine. The mission is marked as Crimson Dawn Opportunity on the map.
- Search Ays’ hideout. Go to the Daroona House and slice Ays’ computer. (Her hideout is located at the South Jundland Wastes.)
- Head to Garrick Ranch and save Ays. She is inside one of the rooms being interrogated by a hired gunner. Use the Data Spike to break in and kill the hostage taker.
- Escape the planet with Ayse. Once you save Ays, the Empire soldiers will raid you. Kill them and ride your Speeder to the Trailblazer. You will need to leave Tatooine and fight some starships along the way.
- Decise Ays’ fate to conclude the mission. At the end of the Defector quest, you get to decide whether Ays should work with Crimson Dawn or the Hutts.
The Defector quest becomes available after you complete t he Jabba’s Favor mission on Tatooine.
Should You Give Ays to Crimson Dawn or the Hutt?
Giving Ays to the Hutts is more profitable, as it rewards you with 2,000 credits. Convincing Ays to work with Crimson Dawn only yields 1,000 credits. Regardless of which syndicate you choose, your reputation with them will increase.
Daroona House Treasure Rewards
By unlocking the door of Daroona House and looting the treasure, you earn a new skin for the Speeder, the Crimson paint job. Given the lengthy process involved in obtaining this treasure, it's fair to say the effort may not be worth it. However, it's important to note that the Daroona House treasure is more of a bonus reward for completing the Defector questline.
