The only primary weapon players will use in Star Wars Outlaws is Kay's blaster. While other weapons can be picked up and used for brief periods, her main blaster can be upgraded with additional modules to give it different firing options, each with different forms.

Kay's blaster all around is very versatile, and no matter what type of upgrades or modules you use and prefer, the Stun Shot on the blaster will always be available. While this isn't a secret fourth module, it does offer a unique shot that can make short work of even the toughest enemies.

How To Use The Stun Shot In Star Wars Outlaws

The Stun Shot will always be an available option no matter what setup you have on your blaster, and it is already an option when you first get the weapon, requiring no additional blaster upgrades. Along the bottom left of the screen will be a small icon to the left of your blaster module icon, and it will be z's in a small bubble. This icon represents your Stun Shot is ready to fire, and the bar that appears around the circle after a shot is its cooldown timer.

To the left of the icon will be the button needed to fire your stun shot: R1 on PlayStation, F on PC, or RB on Xbox. Be sure you're aiming before pressing the button, as the shot will immediately fire and has fairly perfect accuracy for where your reticle is. The Stun Shot can only be fired once before the cooldown starts, and it doesn't matter if you hit anything or not.

How Powerful Is The Stun Shot

The Stun Shot will immediately take out all normal enemies, even elite Imperial Troopers. While it is a stun shot instead of outright killing them, enemies hit by it are considered dead in game terms as they won't get up and will drop anything they would normally drop. There are a few enemies big enough to shake off a stun shot like massive creatures and Death Troopers. Hitting a Death Trooper with a stun shot will leave them staggering for a few seconds, but won't be enough to take them down.
