While Kay's main weapon will be her trusty blaster in Star Wars Outlaws, she will also have other tools at her disposal to help even the playing field when outgunned by the Empire or a major crime syndicate. One tool players will have access to is Grenades, which are excellent at clearing out groups of close enemies or those hiding behind cover.
Grenades will be found and introduced to your arsenal naturally during the first few hours of the game and can be used by opening your bag and selecting grenades, which are the bottom option. Once in hand, grenades can be thrown either by aiming them yourself or trusting the aim-assist system. While using grenades can be fairly straightforward, players will want to get more and carry more.
Which Faction Should You Choose in Star Wars Outlaws?
Choosing the best criminal faction to side with can have a noticeable impact on a Star Wars Outlaws playthrough.
How To Get More Grenades In Star Wars Outlaws
Grenades can be either purchased or found on dead enemies. Looting them off dead enemies is the best method for getting more grenades in the moment, but this is an unreliable process as no one type of enemy is guaranteed to drop a grenade on death. Should one be dropped, it will appear as a white line on the item with the grenade icon appearing in the middle. Dropped items such as these can be picked up by Nix by looking at the item and using his command button to retrieve it.
Outside dead enemies, players can buy grenades at some general stores and smugglers. There are a few different types of general stores, and you'll want to find one with the description, "Offers a variety of items, but especially consumables." Smugglers can be less reliable as their inventories range greatly, but once you find one that does sell grenades they will always sell grenades.

How To Carry More Grenades In Star Wars Outlaws
There are two methods to increase your grenade carry capacity in Star Wars Outlaws:
- Unlocking new expert abilities
- Getting pieces of clothing that increase grenade carry capacity.
The easiest way to increase your grenade carry capacity early on is by unlocking The Mechanic Expert, which is done in one of the first few story missions. Once unlocked, players can work on unlocking both of the Scoundrel's Pouch abilities, which will allow for one more grenade to be carried with each upgrade, along with one extra Bacta Vial. Clothing pieces that increase grenade carry capacity can be a good bit more rare, but an easy option can come from siding with the Crimson Dawn and getting their personal outfit.
