When trying to complete 'Feelers Out' in Star Wars Outlaws, players will be presented with an interesting task, which simply states:

  • Make Nix Jealous

Up to this point, there is not much in the game that would indicate Nix has any kind of special system based around their emotions, so many players may be confused as to how making Nix jealous would even work. Luckily, the answer is actually incredibly simple, and some players may solve this challenge based on a hunch. Nix is clearly extremely protective when it comes to Kay, so players may wonder, "how will Nix respond when I give attention to another animal?" This line of thinking will lead you directly to the solution.

  • To make Nix jealous, simply pet another animal.

How to Pet an Animal in Star Wars Outlaws:

There are several animals and creatures that Kay can pet in Star Wars Outlaws. You'll notice that certain animals have a circular dot above their head, which ets the player know they can interact in some way. These creatures can be found within cities, and in larger open-world areas. When you see the prompt above a creatures head, approach and interact to pet them.

How to Unlock the Feelers Out Ability in Star Wars Outlaws

Unlock the Mercenary

'Feelers Out' is part of The Mercenary's suite of abilities, so before Kay can unlock the ability, she'll first have to unlock Rooster Trace as an Expert. The Mercenary's intel chain is first discovered on Kijimi, while undertaking "The Safecracker." The Mercenary's questline takes place on Kijimi and Tatooine. Once Kay completes Rooster's quest, she will gain access to her ability challenges, including 'Feelers Out.'
