Title update 1.3.0 for Star Wars Outlaws has just gone live, delivering performance optimizations, bug fixes, and other tweaks, including adjustments related to the game's stealth system. The previous title update for Star Wars Outlaws implemented similar changes to Ubisoft's sci-fi action-adventure experience.

The Star Wars Outlaws development team revealed in September that it wanted to create multiple title updates for the game in an effort to introduce improvements and quality-of-life changes. Three of these major patches have been released so far, the latest of which has made further tweaks to Star Wars Outlaws' controversial stealth mechanics.

Star Wars Outlaws Ironically Only Teases What Could’ve Been Its Best Stealth Feature

Star Wars Outlaws' stealth is relatively basic and might've been exceptional had it invested fully in a feature it merely teases by the end.

Aside from addressing bugs, Star War Outlaws' 1.3.0 title update, known as the 1.0.3.0 build on PC and the Xbox Series X/S consoles, changes how stealth works in missions like False Flag, a move that should provide players with more flexibility on how to approach situations without failing. The patch also enhanced NPCs' combat behavior and improved travel for the speeder bikes in Star Wars Oultaws by reducing object collisions in the environment.

Update 1.3.0, or version 01.003.000 on the Sony PlayStation 5, also made changes related to performance and stability, among other things. One of the technical problems that the latest Star Wars Outlaws patch resolved was an issue that previously caused the title to crash whenever New Game mode was selected. Star Wars Outlaws' 1.3.0 title update will take up around 5 GB of space on PC and the Xbox Series X/S machines. Meanwhile, it should only require about 3.5 GB on the PS5.

The Wild Card DLC for Star Wars Outlaws is set to drop on November 21, alongside the game's Steam release and the launch of the fourth title update. This $40 expansion will have a new storyline that features Lando Calrissian - a fan favorite character among Star Wars fans - two cosmetic bundles exclusive to Season Pass owners, and additional contracts for all players.

Star Wars Outlaws has been able to garner an overall score of 75 on Metacritic, netting it a Generally Favorable rating on the review aggregate site. However, Ubisoft revealed in a recent financial report that the game experienced a softer than expected launch, which caused the company's stock price to reach a 10-year low. Ubisoft announced that it would conduct an internal review following the disappointing sales performance of Star Wars Outlaws and also delayed the release of the next Assassin's Creed game to February 14, 2025.
