In Star Wars Outlaws, Research Station 57 is an Imperial Territory located on the planet Akiva. The area houses four treasure chests, each filled with multiple valuables. However, it’s heavily guarded by stormtroopers and supported by AT-AT Walkers. Detection by the guards almost certainly means failure, but with Kay’s skills, you can either sneak past or engage the guards in combat to access the treasures. Treasure Chest #1: In the Laboratory
- Hint: Look for a room with a purple aquarium.
The first chest is located inside the laboratory of Research Station 57. Search for a room with a purple, aquarium-like structure in the center. The chest is positioned next to the control panel in this room.
This room is typically guarded by two stormtroopers. You can use Nix to distract one of guards, making it easier to take them out.
Treasure Chest #2: Near Main Entrances
- Hint: Look behind the boxes across from the AT-AT Station.
The second chest is located on a platform above the area patrolled by the AT-AT Walker. From the main entrance, follow the path to the right until you find a spot for a grappling hook, which is directly across from the deactivated AT-AT Walkers. The chest is in the open next to this grappling hook spot.
Treasure Chest #3: Under the AT-AT Walkers
- Hint: Look under the neutralized AT-AT Walkers in the main yard.
To find the third treasure, check underneath the deactivated AT-AT Walkers in the main yard next to the station’s entrance gate. Be cautious, as you need to avoid detection by the one active AT-AT patrolling the area.
Behind the third chest, there’s a ladder accessible from the platform above. If you’re collecting the chests in sequence, avoid jumping down after retrieving the second chest near the entrance. Instead, proceed to the far side and use the ladder to reach the third chest.
Treasure Chest #4: Inside the AT-AT Walker Control Room
- Hint: Look for a pyramid-like structure in the main yard.
The fourth treasure chest is located in a pyramid-like structure near the AT-AT Walkers, which serves as Research Station 57’s control room. To access it, you’ll need to distract the guard at the entrance while avoiding detection by the patrolling AT-AT.
How to Infiltrate Research Station 57
To enter Akiva's Research Station 57 undetected, use your grappling hook to access a secret path to the right of the station’s entrance. Once inside, you can either sneak through the vent or bypass the guards to enter through the main entrance.
While you can eliminate the guards to enter the station, it’s better to avoid doing so. Raising the alarm will trigger multiple waves of stormtroopers and give you a Wanted Status, complicating the treasure retrieval process. Aim to stay undetected to collect all the treasures as efficiently as possible.
Slice the computers inside the building to deactivate turrets and cameras. This will make it easier to loot the treasure chests without being caught.
