He has been releasing patches and bug fixes for the recent launch of Stardew Valley Update 1.6 on mobile and console and is also making progress on his next game, Haunted Chocolatier. While he may be focusing on a new title, he stated at PAX West that he intends to keep providing new improvements and content for Stardew Valley. "I have so many ideas for Stardew. I feel like I could work on it for the rest of my life, and just keep improving it, adding more stuff to it, more content, fleshing out the existing content," he explained. Update 1.6 marks the biggest patch to date for the game, and many fans are happy to hear that more could eventually be on the way.
