Between the Community Center path and the JojaMart path in Stardew Valley, many players find that the Community Center is the more rewarding option for refurbishing the old building overlooking Pelican Town. To restore it to its former glory, players must enlist the help of the Junimos by completing "bundles," groups of items that the Junimost have requested.
Some of these bundles, though, are easier to complete than others. The Junimos want not only basic crops, but hard-to-catch fish and artisan goods that take a long time to produce. However, some bundles are relatively simple, giving the player a quick leg up early into a playthrough. These bundles all have plentiful items, or ones that are easy for players to get their hands on.
Stardew Valley: Cooking Recipes That Are The Hardest To Make
The mechanics of cooking in Stardew Valley are simple, but learning certain recipes and getting your hands on ingredients can be a challenge.
Seasonal Foraging Bundles
Readily Available Items
As the name suggests, the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter Foraging Bundles all use items that can be found scattered around the valley. Each of these bundles requires four items (or three, in the case of the Summer bundle) to complete. Simply exploring Cindersap Forest, the Mountain area, and Pelican Town itself can usually yield all the necessary items to complete a seasonal Foraging bundle within the first few days of the month.
The items players need to collect for each bundle are:
|
Spring |
Summer |
Fall |
Winter |
|---|---|---|---|
|
|
|
|
If the player selects Remixed Bundles under Advanced Options when starting a new game, the Spring and Winter bundles may be slightly different. For Spring, one of the above items may be replaced with Spring Onion; for Winter, one may be replaced with Holly. Both are still easy items to find.
Vault Bundles
Just Pay Money
The bundles for the Vault are the simplest ones in the Community Center. To complete them, all players have to do is pay the specified amount of Gold. There are four bundles, costing 2,500g, 5,000g, 10,000g, and 25,000g, for a grand total of 42,500g.
Early in the game, this can be quite a lot of money to give up, especially if players are saving for things like farmhouse or barn upgrades. However, by the end of Year 1, most players will be making enough money that even the 25,000g bundle will be easy to make up quickly. And they are objectively easy bundles to complete, since players don't have to spend time tracking down specific items.
Fish Farmer's Bundle
You Can Build Fish Ponds Early
The Fish Farmer's Bundle may appear in the Pantry if the player chooses the Remixed Bundles option at the start of a new game. To complete it, players need to donate two of the following three options:
- 15 Roe
- 15 Aged Roe
- 1 Squid Ink
Stardew Valley: Best Quests To Repeat
Most quests in Stardew Valley can only be done once, but these quests can be repeated to stack rewards.
Players can get Roe by catching fish and housing them in a Fish Pond, which they can buy from Robin for 5,000g, 200 Stone, 5 Green Algae, and 5 Seaweed. All these items are fairly easy to find, and the price is reasonable. Plenty of easy-to-catch fish can be placed in the pond to produce Roe, which can be turned into Aged Roe with a Preserves Jar. This bundle can be a bit more time-consuming to complete than some of the others listed here, but it's not too labor-intensive and the items required aren't hard to come by.
Crab Pot Bundle
No Fishing Required
To complete this bundle, players have a wide variety of items to choose from. All of them, as the bundle's name suggests, can be caught in Crab Pots, and players will have to find five of the items to fill the necessary slots. The possibilities are:
- Crayfish
- Periwinkle
- Snail
- Crab
- Lobster
- Shrimp
- Cockle
- Mussel
- Oyster
- Clam
Fishing can be tricky early in a Stardew Valley playthrough, making the Fish Tank bundles harder to complete than most. However, the Crab Pot Bundle can be completed without any fishing at all. In fact, several items don't even require players to build a Crab Pot at all. Cockles, Mussels, Oysters, and Clams can all be collected as beach forage, filling four out of the five required slots. Even Crabs have a chance to be dropped by Rock Crabs in the Mines, allowing players to finish this bundle with no fishing knowledge at all.
Rare Crops Bundle
Choose One To Grow
The Rare Crops Bundle only has one slot to fill, and players can choose either the Ancient Fruit or the Sweet Gem Berry. Both of these crops are rare and take a long time to grow, but since only one is required, it's a relatively easy bundle to complete.
Finding the Ancient Seed can take a bit of luck, but once they get a plant growing, it won't take too long before they can complete this bundle. If players are getting impatient, they can also purchase the Rare Seed from the Traveling Cart, and grow a Sweet Gem Berry to donate to the Junimos instead.
Adventurer's Bundle
Common Monster Drops
Once players venture into the Mines for the first time, they'll quickly find that monster-slaying is an essential skill if they want to dig for resources here. Fortunately, many of the Mine's denizens drop useful items themselves. The Adventurer's Bundle in the Community Center's Boiler Room has two slots to fill, for which players can choose to donate two of the following monster drops:
- 99 Slime
- 10 Bat Wings
- 1 Solar Essence
- 1 Void Essence
- 10 Bone Fragments (with Remixed Bundles enabled)
35 Things You Should Do Immediately When Starting Stardew Valley
Players starting Stardew Valley for the first time should take the time to do these essential tasks. These should be done immediately.
Though Solar Essence and Void Essence don't start appearing until the deeper levels, it's fairly easy for even early-game players to collect enough Slime and Bat Wings to complete this bundle. What's more, these materials aren't really used in crafting until later levels, so early in a playthrough, completing this bundle is the best possible use for them.
Sticky Bundle
A Use For Sap
Early in the game, players will be chopping down trees left and right, stocking up on wood to use in a wide variety of crafting recipes. The other byproduct of woodcutting, though, is less useful. At this point in the game, players will only be using Sap for Basic Fertilizer and the occasional Torch, both of which use rather miniscule amounts. It's not uncommon for players to find themselves with a huge stockpile of Sap and very little use for it.
If Remixed Bundles are selected, though, there's a chance for the Sticky Bundle to appear in the Crafts Room, alongside the seasonal foraging bundles. This bundle only has one slot to fill, and requires 500 Sap. It's a significant amount, to be sure, but collecting the stuff is an easy endeavor.
Forest Bundle
Bring An Axe
The Forest Bundle is another that has the chance to appear in the Crafts Room if the Remixed Bundles option is selected. To complete it, players must donate three of the following:
- 10 Moss
- 200 Fiber
- 10 Acorns
- 10 Maple Seeds
These items can be easily obtained early in the game; in fact, it's almost inevitable that players will find everything they need simply while clearing their farmland of trees and weeds. The amount of Fiber required might seem like a lot, but if players dedicate themselves to clearing their farm, they should be able to stockpile it quickly. If nothing else, they'll certainly have enough after the Green Rain falls.
