How to Find the Big Tree

Luckily, the tree you need is very close to your farm in Cindersap Forest. So, to find the Big Tree in Stardew Valley you must exit your farm to the south. Then go a little to the left, and you will find the Big Tree. However, at this stage, it is nothing more than a forest decoration. But with the right approach, it will become home to new cute neighbors.

What to Do With the Big Tree

The Big Tree in Stardew Valley requires players to fulfill certain conditions. The first of these is a stormy night. Just go about your daily routine until one night there is a strong wind storm. The next morning, you will need to visit the Big Tree south of your farm again.

As a result of the wind, the Tree will fall, and a stump will remain in its place. But now, you will finally be able to interact with it, as the exclamation mark will notify you. By doing this, you will begin a quest called The Giant Stump. To complete it, you need to collect 100 hardwood.

Fortunately, you just have to walk through the forests a few times and chop down trees to get this resource. But it’s worth noting that 100 hardwood is quite a lot. Therefore, you will spend several in-game days on this.
