How to Make Cherry Bombs

To craft a Cherry Bomb, you must first unlock its recipe by reaching Level One in the Mining Skill. Once unlocked, combine four Copper Ores with one Coal to craft a single Cherry Bomb.

How to Get Cherry Bombs without Crafting
Crafting is the most consistent method for obtaining Cherry Bombs, but it's not the only way. You can also acquire them by purchasing, finding, or winning them as prizes. Here are all the alternative methods:
Purchase Cherry Bombs from the Dwarf
The Dwarf in Stardew Valley’s Volcano Dungeon and The Mines sells Cherry Bombs for 450g each. This price was previously 300g, but the 1.6 update increased it by 50%.
You can also buy a Cherry Bomb from Stardew Valley’s Traveling Cart, though it's not recommended due to the high prices. You might pay anywhere between 150g and 1,000g for a single bomb.
Kill Rock Crabs and Duggy
Two creatures, Rock Crab and Duggy, have a chance of dropping Cherry Bombs. Each time you kill a Rock Crab, there's a 40% chance of getting one, while Duggies have a 25% chance of dropping the item.
Interact with the Mayor’s Prize Machine
Stardew Valley’s 1.6 update introduced the Prize Machine in the Mayor’s house. Using this device, you can exchange tickets for various rewards, including a pack of Cherry Bombs. Specifically, there’s a 33% chance that the machine’s tenth prize will be a pack of 20 Cherry Bombs.
Loot Treasure Rooms
Stardew Valley's Skull Cavern features treasure rooms that can appear randomly after reaching the tenth floor. These rooms contain treasure chests that can yield various prizes, including a pack of Cherry Bombs.
To increase your chances of finding more treasure rooms, aim for the highest daily luck and use as many luck buffs as possible.
Cherry Bomb Damage and Effects
Once deployed, a Cherry Bomb will explode within a few seconds, destroying rocks, foraged minerals, crafted artisan goods, and even trees (if their health reaches zero) within a seven-tile radius.
Stardew Valley’s explosives can also damage the player, so you need to be cautious when using them. Fortunately, the 1.6 update introduced a new way to mitigate the self-damaging effect: the Dwarvish Safety Manual.
To minimize a Cherry Bomb’s damage to your character, read the Dwarvish Safety Manual. You can obtain this power book from the Dwarf for 4,000g, or buy it from the bookseller’s shop for 20,000g.
Another way to protect yourself is by having a 
Statue Of The Dwarf King. This item has a chance to grant a daily buff that makes you immune to all bomb damage for a day.
Best Ways to Use Cherry Bombs
Veteran players use Cherry Bombs to speed up their progression in the mines and dungeons. By using this affordable explosive, they can mine faster and locate hidden ladders, as the explosion’s radius clears rocks and barriers.
One effective use of Cherry Bombs is defeating Mummies. These creatures are tough to deal with since they respawn after each knockdown. To ensure a dropped Mummy stays down, combine a melee attack with a Cherry Bomb.
Keep hitting the Mummy until it's knocked down, then place a Cherry Bomb nearby and take cover. The explosion will prevent the knocked-down monster from getting back up.
Cherry Bombs aren't a great gift choice, as no one in Pelican Town likes them. Even Kent, who may occasionally gift you a Cherry Bomb, doesn't enjoy receiving them.
