How to Make Raisins in Stardew Valley
In order to make raisins in the game, you'll need to first make sure you get a Dehydrator. You can easily purchase this item's recipe from Pierre's Shop for 10,000 g. Then, to make it, you'll need the following ingredients:
- 30x Wood
- 2x Clay
- 1x Fire Quartz
Once you've made the Dehydrator, you can place it anywhere you'd like on your farm. Then, to make raisins, you'll need to gather at least 5 grapes. There are a few different ways you can get grapes, including:
- Found in Summer Seeds
- Purchase the Grape Starter in fall from Pierre's Shop
- Found through foraging in the summer
Make sure that when you place the 5 grapes in the Dehydrator, they are all the same quality, or they will not work. For example, you'll need 5 Gold Quality grapes, and then you can place them inside. After you've started the process, it will take 1 full day to create the raisins.

The Heavy Furnace is an upgrade to the regular furnace in Stardew Valley. Here’s how you can get one for your farm.
How to Use Raisins in Stardew Valley
Raisins can be consumed by your character to restore a bit of health and energy. However, since they are known as the Junimo's favorite food, there is another use for them. If you have a Junimo Hut on your farm, you can visit it and open up their inventory. If you place some raisins inside, the Junimos will have a chance to double the amount of crops they harvest nearby. This is a great way to increase the product you receive on your farm and make into artisan goods, and it will also take some of the weight off of you when harvesting crops.
If you need to make a Junimo Hut, you can visit the Wizard's Tower to purchase one after you've completed the Goblin Problem quest. You will need:
- 20,000 g
- 200x Stone
- 9x Starfruit
- 100x Fiber
