In Stardew Valley, the
Iridium Band is a late-game booster item that combines the effect of three other rings. You cannot purchase it with Gold—or any other currencies—and there are not many ways to acquire it from the in-game chests or events. That is why the Iridium Band is also considered one of the rare rings of the game. This guide, however, teaches you all the nitty-gritty of getting your own Iridium Band and explains how to combine it with other similar items for maximum performance.

Rubies can be used for more than just making a profit in Stardew Valley. Use this guide to easily locate this valuable gem.
How to Get an Iridium Band
There are two methods to obtain an Iridium Band: either recover it from a Fishing Treasure Chest or craft it using the recipe. This specific item is not available for purchase from any seller, but you can sell it to them for 1,000g.
Find in the Fishing Treasure Chests
There’s a slim 0.12% probability of receiving an Iridium Band for free from a Fishing Treasure Chest. You can retrieve these chests from water bodies and oceans using your fishing pole, akin to the fishing mini-game.
Craft an Iridium Band with the Recipe
The crafting recipe unlocks when you reach Combat Level 9. Once you have the ingredients (5 Iridium Bars, 50 Solar Essences, 50 Void Essences), open the Crafting Menu and drag and drop the Iridium Band into your inventory.
Note that all the ingredients must be in your inventory.
Here’s how to get each ingredient:
- Iridium Bar: Put five Iridium Ore and one Coal into the Furnace for eight hours.
- Solar Essence: Kill Ghosts, Haunted Skulls, Iridium Bats, or Metal Heads.
- Void Essence: Buy from Krobus or kill Shadow Brutes and Shadow Shamans.
Iridium Band Effect Explained
The Iridium Band combines features from three rings: Glow, Magnet, and Ruby. It provides illumination in the dark, gathers nearby items, and boosts your attack by 10%. Equipping the Iridium Band eliminates the need for an external light source, emitting its own glow. It also expands the range for collecting drops from a distance and consistently boosts your attack while worn.
Best Combos for the Iridium Band
The Iridium ring’s effects can be enhanced by pairing it with another Iridium Band. This combination doubles the benefits for your light, magnetism, and attack. If you don’t have an extra Iridium Band, alternative pairings, such as the Glow and Magnet Rings, can also be effective.
