Summary
- A LEGO recreation of JojaMart from Stardew Valley impresses fans on Reddit.
- Fans appreciate the attention to detail in the LEGO build and hope for an official set launch someday.
- The Stardew Valley fan has also created a LEGO version of Pierre's General Store.
The infamous JojaMart has been recreated in LEGO form thanks to one talented Stardew Valley fan, and the game’s community has taken notice. Stardew Valley fans often show off their creativity in unique ways, and this LEGO recreation of JojaMart is a great example of this.
Broadly speaking, Pelican Town and the surrounding region have a cozy aesthetic that feels in harmony with nature. However, JojaMart stands in stark contrast to this theme. The in-game store owned by the Joja Corporation has a very sterile design and serves as competition to the General Store run by Pierre in the middle of Pelican Town. While players can shop at JojaMart and even purchase a JojaMart Membership, the store is seen as an antagonistic force to many fans since it threatens the survival of the Community Center in Stardew Valley. Recently, one fan decided to remake the infamous store in a different medium.
In a Reddit post, a user known as Minifigdisplayco shared pictures of their JojaMart made out of LEGO bricks. The impressive design captured the recognizable rectangular shape of the building and even had the wooden pillars near the corners. In addition, the Reddit user added the signage for the building, including the store’s name above the entrance and a couple of slogans, including “Life’s better with Joja.” The LEGO build even included an advertisement next to the store for Joja Cola, a Joja brand item in Stardew Valley.
Stardew Valley Fan's LEGO JojaMart
Unsurprisingly, this LEGO version of JojaMart has caught the attention of the game’s community on Reddit. With over 1.6K upvotes, many fans enjoyed the concept. Some even wished the design would be made into an official set that could be purchased. It is worth pointing out that Minifigdisplayco has made other LEGO builds in the past. Previously, they had designed a LEGO version of Pierre’s General Store, which they included in the images of their recent Reddit post. This build featured a similar aesthetic to the JojaMart one and even included Harvey’s Clinic connected to the side.
With so many locations in Stardew Valley, LEGO builders have many options when considering their next projects. Besides LEGO builds, many of these places in and around Pelican Town have become the focus of fan projects. For example, another gamer decided to make artwork imagining an isometric perspective of Willy’s Fish Shop. Hopefully, Stardew Valley players will continue to create creations based on the game for years to come.
