A fan of the cozy farming game Stardew Valley has created an awesome real-life 3D-printed Krobus mailbox, just in time to give passersby a fright in the run-up to the spooky season. The beloved farm-life simulation game developed by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone, who worked on the title for over four and a half years, first launched on PC in 2016 before making its way to other platforms. Taking the role of a character who inherits their deceased grandfather's run-down farm in a place known as Stardew Valley, players can grow crops, care for livestock, fish, cook meals, and get to know the game's townspeople.
When it comes to creativity, the Stardew Valley community know no bounds in regard to being able to come up with incredible ideas inspired by the immersive sim. Whether it's a Stardew Valley quilt with cute ducks or impressive fan art, the game's skilled fans go above and beyond to showcase their devotion to the highly regarded title, which was heavily inspired by the Story of Seasons series.
Stardew Valley: The Most Profitable Artisan Goods
Artisan goods are among the most profitable items in Stardew Valley, but focusing on these particular ones will make the player especially rich.
Posting on the Stardew Valley Reddit page, WessWilder has shown off their real-life spooky Krobus mailbox. As the nights are now becoming darker, WessWilder thought it would be a great idea to include green glowing eyes on Stardew Valley's Krobus to give the friendly monster more of a sinister touch, especially since Halloween is approaching. Using thermoplastic polyester, WessWilder created Krobus with a 3D printing device and then placed the adorable creature on top of their oversized mailbox.
Stardew Valley Fan Designs Real-Life Krobus Mailbox
Stardew Valley is filled with tons of secrets and puzzles for players to solve and, for those who haven't played the game yet, one of these puzzles is where Krobus can be found. Players can explore Stardew Valley's Sewers beneath Pelican Town and meet the friendly Shadow Spirit there. Krobus also offers players a daily selection of wares for purchase and can become their roommate if they form a good enough bond.
For players wondering when the Stardew Valley Update 1.6 will arrive on consoles and mobile, it seems as though they might be waiting for some time. Creator ConcernedApe is currently hard at work on his next game, Haunted Chocolatier, but has issued an apology for the delay, explaining that the process of porting the huge patch to other platforms has taken longer than planned.
