- Many players on the Stardew Valley subreddit express delight in seeing Krobus in a brighter environment, emphasizing the importance of creating a cozy and happy space for characters in the game.
One Stardew Valley player decided to give their roommate Krobus a room makeover. Stardew Valley isn't just a game about farming, but about fostering connections with the people of Pelican Town. Through this, they learn the stories of each of them, connect with them, and perhaps even find a partner along the way. However, if marriage isn't what someone wants, players can opt for a roommate, Krobus. Just like partners, he gets his own room, but it can seem a bit less homely to some.
Stardew Valley's Krobus isn't one of the common townsfolk of Pelican Town, but instead lives underneath it in the sewers that can only be accessed once the player gets the rusty key. Once he is found there, he will sell the player a variety of rare goods like Void Eggs and Stardrops. However, like the other people of Pelican Town, the player can build a rapport with the monster. After some time, once the player gives Krobus the Void Ghost Pendant and waits three days, Krobus will join the player at their farmhouse as a roommate, along with his own room.
Stardew Valley Glitch Lets Player Give the Spa an Impressive Makeover
A creative Stardew Valley player utilizes a little-known glitch to give the sauna a beautiful decor overhaul, inspiring other players to do the same.
Giving Krobus The Room He Deserves
One player, though, found this room to look a bit too much like a dungeon to fit with their home and gave it a makeover similar to how one Stardew Valley player redecorated Haley's room. Posting to the Stardew Valley subreddit, user tinuviel216 uploaded a picture of the decorations they made for Krobus' room. In the screenshot, the once cold dungeon that was Krobus' room now had a warm fireplace, a comfy bench to sit on, and plenty of bookshelves with books to read, among other decorations.
In the comments, many of the users were delighted to see Krobus in a much warmer environment compared to the one he had before. Others spoke of the decorations they put in his room, like beds and plants, citing how they want Krobus to be happy and surrounded by livelier things, focusing not just on how well they can design their storage sheds in Stardew Valley, but how homely they can make their farmhouses as well.
Even when their roommate can be a monster, players find it in themselves to give them the warmth they feel they deserve, as some of these characters are more than just pixels on a screen, but friends. With more dialogue coming in Stardew Valley's 1.6 update, there will be more depth added to these characters so that players can appreciate them better, and most likely more decorations to give their rooms a bit more love.
