The Stardew Valley tractor mod makes the Skull Cavern much easier. While playing Stardew Valley is a fun and relaxing experience for the most part, the Skull Cavern can be rather daunting.

The modding community of Stardew Valley is very active. Hundreds of different mods are available, from custom NPCs to cosmetic changes to large expansions that add entirely new areas and stories to the game. Some mods let players cheat, spawning in items, providing extra information about items or people, or creating entirely new items that aren't typically available in Stardew Valley before.

On TikTok, user strawberryelf shared their experience with the Tractor Mod and how they used it to breeze through Skull Cavern in Stardew Valley. The video shows strawberryelf's character sitting on a tractor and mining and collecting all the available ores within seconds. Even more impressive, it seems two Serpents are trying to catch the player, yet the tractor just speeds by with little effort. What the Tractor Mod allows, is partly self-explanatory - it adds a tractor into Stardew Valley. But it also allows a long list of actions to be performed by the tractor, which means a player can summon their tractor to the Skull Cavern and basically clear everything on a level, no matter if it's an ore or monster. Thanks to the speed of the tractor, it's also very easy to find holes that'll lead to lower levels. The tractor's reach can also be expanded, so the player doesn't even have to approach monsters if they don't want to. The Stardew Valley tractor mod is available through Nexus Mods.

Everyone under the video commented about how much they wish they had a PC just to add this mod, and those who play on a PC shared that this is how they get through the Skull Cavern themselves. The mod does seem like an absolute fan favorite for Stardew Valley fans, and it's easy to see why.

Although the tractor mod has a long list of requirements it needs installed before it becomes functional, the trade-off seems to be worth it. For those fans who play Strawdew Valley on other platforms, unfortunately, they'll have to get through the Skull Cavern the hard way.

Stardew Valley is available now on Mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
