There is still no word on exactly when Stardew Valley Update 1.6 will come to consoles and mobile, but ConcernedApe recently took to Twitter to give fans a brief update. In the tweet, ConcernedApe confirmed that the console and mobile ports for Update 1.6 are still in progress and that he is "personally" working on the mobile version every day. ConcernedApe reassured fans that he will announce when there is "meaningful news" to share about Stardew Valley Update 1.6 on consoles and mobile, like its release date.

While Stardew Valley fans on consoles and mobile may be disappointed to learn that there is still no release date for Update 1.6 on their platforms of choice, it's unlikely that the fans are going to get too upset. After all, Stardew Valley Update 1.6 adds significant content and improvements to the game and comes completely free of charge - something that holds true for all previous Stardew Valley updates as well.

In fact, Stardew Valley fans never have to worry about paying for DLC or updates for the game.
