Abigail's unique interests and hobbies have her mother worrying about her “alternative lifestyle.” Her mom wishes that Abigail would dress more appropriately and stop dyeing her hair blue.
Abigail has a passion for playing the flute and exploring the hidden mysteries of the Occult. Her adventurous spirit shines as she often discusses her dream of becoming a farmer with the player. Abigail is close friends with Sebastian and Sam and serves as the drummer of their band. Let's take a look at some of her favorite gifts and activities in Stardew Valley.

Updated on April 14, 2025, by Usama Ali: With her purple hair and adventurous spirit, Abigail stands out as a unique and intriguing resident of Stardew Valley. In fact, many players find her slightly mysterious aura particularly appealing and want to build a closer relationship with her. If you want to increase your friendship with Abigail and win her over, you need to gift her items she really likes. We’ve updated this guide with even more of Abigail’s favorite things, so you'll have even better luck winning her heart.
Abigail’s Loved Gifts in Stardew Valley
In Stardew Valley, players can boost their Friendship with the villagers by giving them up to two gifts per week. Based on their preferences, a “Loved” gift increases a villager’s Friendship with the player by 80 points, while a “Liked” gift only increases Friendship by 45 points.
Abigail seems to have a preference for purpled-colored items. Gifts given on Abigail’s birthday (Fall 13) have eight times the normal effect on Friendship levels. She loves being gifted the following items:
- All Universal Loves
-
Amethyst
-
Banana Pudding
-
Blackberry Cobbler
-
Chocolate Cake
-
Spicy Eel
-
Pufferfish
-
Pumpkin
Even though Abigail loves
Blackberry Cobbler, she is not particularly fond of Blackberries. When you give Abigail a Loved gift, she expresses genuine excitement and appreciation. Her response is usually: “I seriously love this! You're the best, (Your Name)!”
Abigail’s Liked Gifts in Stardew Valley
Apart from her Loved gifts, players can also gift Abigail different things that she likes to increase their friendship with her. Here is a list of Abigail’s Liked gifts:
- All Universal Likes (except Vegetables)
-
Ancient Sword
-
Basilisk Paw
-
Bone Flute
- Combat Quarterly Book
-
Quartz
When you give Abigail a Liked gift, you can generally expect a positive response, though it won't be as enthusiastic as her reaction to a Loved gift. She often jokingly says that she's going to eat it, regardless of what the gift is.
These gifts will increase your friendship with Abigail, but not as much as Loved gifts. So, if you’re trying to win her over, try your best to get the things she loves.
Abigail’s Favorite Movies in Stardew Valley
Inviting the villagers to the Movie Theater boosts Friendship points by 200 if the movie is “Loved” and by 100 points if the movie is “ Liked .” Additionally, purchasing a loved snack for their guest at the Concessions counter allows players to earn 50 Friendship Points.
If the player takes Abigail to the Movie Theater, she loves eating the purple-looking snacks: Rock Candy and Stardrop Sorbet.

- It Howls In The Rain
