A Starfield player has built a ship that's modeled after an attack helicopter in the game, adding to the ever-growing list of creative builds that players have been designing. The player went online to share their ship-building creation from Starfield, which was followed by comments praising the experiment.
The Starfield community is home to many creative ships that have been meticulously outlined by players. With the tools offered by Creation Engine 2, players can come up with a wide array of designs. These can range from popular builds inspired by other worlds, such as the Mandalorian's spacecraft from Star Wars, the Swordfish from Cowboy Bepop, Samus Aran's ship from the Metroid series, and plenty more. Additionally, players have indulged in original builds as well. Two months after Starfield's launch, players continue to craft new builds whether they're inspired by a famous spaceship or not. With this in mind, one such player went ahead and assembled ship parts to craft a new design.
Starfield Player Builds Military Transport Aircraft
One Starfield player takes online to show their impressive custom ship, which looks very similar to a military transport aircraft.
After claiming that they haven't seen a helicopter build from any players within the Starfield community, Reddit user Ill_Impression_4703 shared their own creation of an original chopper. Stationed at a landing pad, the helicopter comes with a few floors, complete with rotating blades that won't turn. Its distinctive design hints that it's a military attack helicopter, though the entire process was an experiment, according to Ill_Impression_4703. The pictures of the helicopter were taken while the player was on the ground, claiming that they "looked weird" while using Photo Mode in Starfield when traveling through space.
While the Reddit post received many comments lauding the helicopter design, one user did mention that other similar builds have been seen online. Reddit user grndkntrl pointed to the StarfieldShips subreddit, where all the other published builds can be viewed. Upon inspecting the subreddit, dozens of original builds are published daily, making it somewhat difficult to locate familiar helicopter ships from other players. Nevertheless, Ill_Impression_4703's design has managed to stand out to many users.
The helicopter build in Starfield isn't the first ship that Ill_Impression_4703 has shared online. Previously, they've posted builds that feature a LEGO Bi-Plane, A-10 Thunderbolt II, F-16, builds inspired by the ships from No Man's Sky, and many more. Most notably, their A-10 Thunderbolt II - New & Improved post has received over 1,900 upvotes at the time of writing.
Looking ahead, Ill_Impression_4703 will work on a Blue Thunder build. While Starfield players may not have access to spaceship blueprints, they can still look at the published works by other players who have managed to craft unique ships in the game.
