Neon is Starfield's cyberpunk-style pleasure city that's a playground for crime, the psychedelic effects of Aurora, and letting some space hair down. It's one of Starfield's most distinctive locations to explore, with its glowing neon lights, bustling streets, and surrounding aquatic wildlife.
Given Starfield's colossal star map, some players might wonder how to get to Neon and when they can step foot onto its atmospheric streets. There's also a lot to do in Neon, with plenty of core locations and points of interest to explore as players take in the sights and sounds of the massive city, which can be tricky to navigate.
How To Get To Neon In Starfield
Players can visit and explore Neon at any time after first reaching New Atlantis and don't have to wait for the main story to progress to go there. To get to Neon in Starfield, players must travel to the Volii system that sits to the right of Alpha Centauri, just past the Olympus System. Neon is a city located on the planet Volii Alpha in the Volii system. Even though the journey consumes a lot of fuel, players can jump straight to the Volii system from locations in Alpha Centauri, such as Jemison.
When reaching Volii Alpha, players can scan the planet and select Neon as the landing point to land the ship at the city entrance. The game recommends players achieve level five status before exploring Neon, but those who have yet to attain this status are still free to go there if they wish.
