A Starfield modder has released a new Creation mod that gives players over 200 pieces of custom furniture to add to their living spaces and outposts. Bethesda's sci-fi RPG has just recently celebrated its second anniversary and there is still a sizable community of gamers who are enjoying living in the world of Starfield and experimenting with tons of wacky or, sometimes, cozy Creation mods.
Giving players a space to call their own has been a staple of Bethesda's RPGs for quite some time, but that idea expanded in Fallout 4 with the introduction of buildable settlements. Starfield took player spaces further than ever with its expanded outpost system, allowing players to create their own bases nearly anywhere in the Settled Systems. The game's shipbuilding system also took off as one of Starfield's best features. Additionally, every one of Starfield's major cities, from New Atlantis to Neon, and even the new city Dazra introduced in the Shattered Space DLC, has apartments players can either buy or earn through questlines, allowing players to design their own unique living spaces, providing a myriad of stylish, futuristic furniture and decorative items to do so.
Starfield: Why You Should Start Over in 2025
As Starfield enters its second year, Bethesda has brought a long list of post-launch updates that offer players even more to experience.
New Starfield Mod Adds Over 200 Furniture and Decoration Pieces
Now, one Starfield modder has added a host of decorative items to the game as part of a new Creation mod called Tailored Spaces. This new mod by Sweetpea704 brings a collection of over 200 items to players' living spaces, including workbenches, plants, rugs, containers, fireplaces, and more. Sweetpea also mentions the two stylish color palettes for the furniture pieces: a warm wood and bronze look and a colder, Star Wars-looking black and silver. Since Tailored Spaces is a verified Starfield mod, it costs 400 Creation Credits to download and use.
Sweetpea704's Creation page for their Tailored Spaces mod only mentions living spaces like apartments and outposts, and doesn't explicitly confirm that these new pieces will be able to be applied to players' spaceship interiors. However, since it's already possible for players to customize the inside of their ships, it can be assumed that Sweetpea's set of new furniture and decorations will also be compatible with the shipbuilding feature. Sweetpea has built other decorative Starfield mods, including one called Noel's Greenhouse that lets players grow plants in Constellation's HQ building, and another that makes the Sleepcrate apartment in Neon more customizable.
It's been just about a full year since the release of Starfield's first story DLC, Shattered Space, and fans have been clamoring for the second one, which has yet to be officially revealed. Additionally, the heavily rumored and expected PS5 port of Starfield has also been MIA, with no official word from Bethesda. Perhaps an update on both the port and second DLC is in store sometime before the end of the year.
