A Starfield player has built a massive 6-deck battleship using the customization tools in the game. Starfield's ship-building is one of the features that received significant attention ahead of the game's launch, and it is being taken to the limits by this player.

Starfield offers significant ship customization through the Ship Technician NPC. Though players can recruit many Starfield NPCs to crew their ship, Ship Technicians are found in major settlements and spaceports. Players have modded their Starfield spaceships to look like Futurama's Planet Express, the UNSC Pelican from Halo, and a Borg Cube from Star Trek. While many Starfield fans replicate these creations from other franchises, some design entirely unique ships. One Starfield player is testing the limits of space travel by building what may be the biggest ship in the game.

Reddit user Amagical recently shared several Starfield screenshots showing off their gigantic battleship with 65 habitable squares. The images show the spaceship looming in space, and on a landing pad which highlights the scale using a Starfield character. According to Amagical, the massive Starfield battleship has six decks that are accessible through one causeway, two control stations, two computer cores, two living quarters, two all-in-ones, and two captain's quarters. There are also singular spaces dedicated to science, infirmary, armory, and workshop. Beyond these, Amagical has stated that there are multiple engineering sections, battle stations, cargo hulls, mess halls, and brigs.

Amagical has stated that Starfield's ship combat isn't difficult despite their battleships' large size. The spacecraft uses a big Gauss Cannon, Helion Beam Array, and four rail gun turrets. The Starfield fan confirmed that customizing their ship cost them all of their credits. Because of how useful these credits can be in other situations, Amagical's dedication to making the largest craft that they can is emphasized. Having not started a tutorial from the beginning, Amagical shared their save file so that other players could replicate their battleship. This ship requires Starfield Piloting level four, while they have confirmed that they've gotten access to more components by leveling up.

While it can still be added to, the Starfield battleship may become inoperable due to its sheer size. Although Amagical stated that their customized spaceship costs many credits and hours, the total cost and time invested are still currently unclear. Because Amagical continues to level up the Starfield protagonist, the ship may continue to grow as the player accesses more components.

Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
