The corporate world in Starfield is often cutthroat, and the pharmaceutical giant Reliant Medical is no exception. This is a lesson players can learn by taking on the side mission "Missed Connections" in Gagarin Landing.
Much like other side missions in Starfield, players can hear about how Helena Strickland is waiting for a courier from a passing guard in Gagarin. Players can also go speak to Helena and be mistaken for the late courier, starting the mission from there. Just be sure to check the Reliant Medical building near the landing pad because, unlike most settlements, the doctor's office is a separate location in Gagarin.
How to Start Missed Connections
Helena's office takes up most of the second floor of the Reliant Medical building, so take the stairs up and speak to the woman sitting behind the big desk. If players are aware of Helena's problem, they can say they're here to help. Otherwise, they'll hear about it after explaining they aren't a new courier.
Once players agree to help, they'll need to wait for Helena to call the courier service. Curiously, she always takes the long way around her desk to use her phone. Once she finishes, she'll give players the courier's route and a four-digit code they can use to check whether they visited the location or not.
How to Find the Courier
Helena won't provide directions to the four courier check-ins players need to visit, but they should show up as objective markers so long as "Missed Connections" is active. The courier was only supposed to visit locations in Gagarin Landing, so players will only have to look around town to complete this phase of the mission.
Of the locations, the courier has visited two of them but failed to reach the other two. Every check-in is optional aside from the one the courier is currently at, which is the furthest one from Reliant Medical. Specifically, players should head down the stairs next to the Gagarin statue and check the door on the left.
Loot the Empty Priority Package from the corpse and return it to Helena. She's dismayed if players tell her about the dead courier, but she already has a prime suspect: Bonifac Maksimov, a Reliant Medical executive who recently fled Gagarin for Hawley, one of the moons of Olivas.
Players can continue this mission line with "Missed the Mark," but this part of the story has come to an end. The reward for "Missed Connections" is 50 XP and a medium amount of credits.
