A new Starfield mod allows gamers who want to romance multiple characters simultaneously to engage in a polyamorous relationship with them. While Starfield offers a vast universe for players to explore, it’s quite limited in romances, as gamers can only connect with four characters, and some of them, such as Andreja, will not allow the player to romance them if they are already seeing other people.

Starfield was released in 2023, obtaining positive reviews, but being criticized by many fans due to its sprawling yet empty universe. Back in June, Bethesda launched a new Starfield update, which added more missions, gear, and content to the game. The highlight of the update was Starfield’s official modding toolset, the Creation Kit 2, which enables fans to come up with new Starfield mods more easily than before.

Now, gamers can download a Starfield mod called “Polyamory - Remove Single Romance Limit” from Nexus Mods. The mod, which was created by TheRealCooper, works in quite a straightforward way, as it removes the limit of how many people can be romanced at the same time. Normally, Starfield allows gamers to pick between four romance options: Sarah Morgan, Sam Coe, Barrett, or Andreja. While some characters do not care so much about monogamy in the base game unless the player is married to them, Andreja would refuse to go out with the player if they were already in a relationship, and this mod changes that. Unfortunately, the mod does not add any new interaction between these characters.

Starfield's New Polyamory Mod Removes Single Romance Limit

Starfield has many incredible mods for gamers who want to change the experience of playing the open-world game. For instance, a recent Starfield mod fixes Earth, overhauling the planet’s flora and fauna, and acting as a massive content upgrade for players.

Another popular mod adds Star Wars lightsabers to Starfield. While Starfield has a pretty grounded hard-science aesthetic, its player base likely has a big overlap with Star Wars fans, and this can be a perfect addition for these gamers.

While Starfield has no shortage of incredible mods, some of these projects are unfortunately not going forward. For example, an incredibly ambitious Starfield mod that would bring the lands from Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind to the space exploration game was recently canceled. According to the mod’s creators, the lack of endorsement from the community was the deciding factor in the decision, as they did not feel that this ambitious undertaking had enough interest to be worth it in the end.
