All Starfield Pre-Order Bonuses
No matter which edition of Starfield players pre-order, they will receive the Old Mars Skin Pack as a bonus. This bundle includes a laser cutter, Deep Mining Helmet, and the Deep Mining Pack, but it won't come with the early-access code and the Shattered Space Story Expansion.
Here's the complete list of all pre-order bonuses:
- A laser cutter
- The Deep Mining Helmet
- The Deep Mining Pack
Game Pass subscribers will also benefit from all Starfield pre-order bonuses at launch.
Standard Edition (Pre-Order & Game Pass)
Pre-ordering Starfield’s physical or digital base game rewards players with a day-one skin pack, The Old Mars. This pack includes a thematic deep mining set as well as a laser cutter that affects some aspects of gameplay. Game Pass subscribers will also benefit from these perks without actually having to pre-order the Standard Edition.
Digital Premium Edition
Starfield’s Digital Premium Edition comes with four bonuses: a 5-day early access code, Shattered Space Story Expansion, Constellation skin pack, and the digital arts of the game. However, those who pre-order this edition will also access the Old Mars skin pack at no extra cost.
Premium Upgrade Edition (Physical)
Selected retailers offer a physical upgrade to Premium Edition for the base game owners. By purchasing this item, players get a Steelbook Display and a Constellation Patch on top of the digital perks such as the early-access, day-one DLC and skin packs.
The physical Premium Upgrade does not include the base game, and players must purchase it separately.
Constellation Edition
Also known as Starfield’s Collector’s Edition, the Constellation Edition comes with a physical Chronomark watch and case along with all the digital benefits of the Premium Edition. This includes the Steelbook Display, Constellation patch, the early-access code, and skin packs.
The Constellation Edition will still require players to download the game, as it doesn’t include the disc.
Which Starfield Edition is the Best?
Considering the perks and prices, Starfield’s Digital Premium Edition offers the best value for the lowest price. For $99.99, this bundle comes with the highly sought-after Shattered Space Expansion in addition to cosmetic extras, as well as an early-access code.
Starfield will be available for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PCs on September 6, 2023.
