Redditor davidshelly showed off their epic Starfield ship build, which looks exactly like a hammerhead shark. The sheer scale of the creation is massive, and it massively surpasses the grid in the ship-building UI. It would be interesting to see how it actually flies, given how massive it is - it would certainly be a sight to behold, watching this float by in space. It seems that on this particular occasion, davidshelly asked a little too much of Starfield. After the awesome screenshot was taken, the game crashed due to the scale of the build, causing them to lose all progress.
Space Shark Build Breaks Starfield
During the marketing for Starfield, Bethesda showed off a ship that looked exactly like a platypus. It was a cool visual intended to show off just how versatile Starfield's ship-building features are. In the wake of its release, it's only natural that many gamers out there have recreated many creatures from the real world. A while back, one Starfield player even built a ship that looks like a chicken, and there's no doubt that gamers will try to recreate just about every animal on Earth eventually.
While many at Bethesda have now moved on to the development of The Elder Scrolls 6, some at the studio continue work on Starfield content. It's set to be a big year for the game - the recent release of the Creation Kit should be a huge moment for the game's modding scene, and Starfield's Shattered Space DLC looks awesome. Shattered Space is set for release later this year, taking a darker tone that could help the game finally live up to its potential. Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen, but the signs from the footage so far are promising.
