Resource gathering and crafting are as vital to Starfield as battling space pirates and saving the galaxy from a terrifying alien threat. Whether the resources are natural, manufactured, or non-organic commodities, players have several ways to upgrade weapons, armor, and ships.
Players can harvest plants to create medicines and other buffs to improve physical performance in combat. One of the rarest resources to find in Starfield is Antimony. Antimony is an exotic tier three crafting resource used to upgrade bullets and improve the performance of projectile weapons in Starfield.
Where To Find Antimony
Antimony can be found on several planets throughout the galaxy in Starfield. However, the closest and earliest way to get the resource is by traveling to Cruth in the Narion System. To reach the Narion System, the player must use the Star Map and fast-travel to the northeast from the Alpha Centauri System or northwest from the Guniibuu II system.
Antimony is a rare resource, and the player must be prepared to explore and travel long distances on an empty planet with the hand scanner to identify it. However, the most reliable location to mine is outside an enemy outpost on Cruth. To find the enemy outpost, use the following steps:
- Select Cruth and opt to land on the planet's Landing Area.
- Press LB to open the hand scanner.
- Head to the Industrial Rig northeast of the Landing Area.
- Players will likely pass an Abandoned Mineral Refinery on the way.
- Watch out for enemies and landmines in this area.
- Before entering the Industrial Rig, scan the area outside the building to locate the Antimony and use the Cutter to collect it.
Where To Purchase Antimony
While mining and scanning planets is the cheapest method to farming Antimony, the most convenient is by purchasing it. Thankfully, players won't have to go too far, as Antimony can be purchased from the UC Distribution Center on New Atlantis. The UC Distribution is located in the Commercial District of New Atlantis.
To buy it, speak to the vendor inside named Wen Tseng. Highlight and select Resources. There are 15 Antimony in stock for 30 credits each. Two other vendors in Neon, located in the Volii System, sell Antimony. Both the Mining League and Sierghart's Outfitters sell Antimony for 30 credits. This is fairly cheap, so players will have no issue stocking up.
