Paradiso in Starfield is precisely what the name suggests, as a beautiful, tropical island-style location and holiday destination for any galactic space traveler. Players might not expect to find golden sandy beaches and lush palm trees amid space, but that's what Starfield' s Paradiso offers as a welcome break from combat.

To get to Paradiso in Starfield, players should travel to a nearby system like the Volii if traveling from Alpha Centauri. Paradiso is located on the planet Porrima II in the Porrima System, which is too far to jump straight from Alpha Centauri. In this scenario, players can hop between systems to break up the distance, using the planet Volii Alpha in the Volii System as a starting point to jump to Porrima II.

When players reach Porrima II, they should select Paradiso as the landing spot. More landing spots become available as players discover new locations.

When first arriving at Paradiso, it might seem like there's not much beyond its hotel and beach. However, in addition to Starfield's First Contact quest via the ship surrounding the planet, there are several things to do in Paradiso that open up once players start exploring and chatting with the local NPCs. Below is a list of some noteworthy things players can do during their time visiting Paradiso.

  • Talk to hotel staff to unlock various side missions, such as the Lost and Found quest, where players hunt for lost items. Talking to the hotel greeter also gives players some information about the resort.
  • Rent a room in the hotel, which players can find in the Deluxe Penthouse Suite via the elevator. Players can use their rental to rest and temporarily lead a life of luxury. There are also some vendors in the hotel where players can buy items like ammo and coffee.
  • Absorb Paradiso's holiday vibes even more by getting one of Starfield's swimsuits and embracing hotel guest life.
  • Change character appearance in the hotel's dedicated Enhance Clinic.
  • For players missing the action, exploring more of the island can lead to undiscovered locations, including a deep mineral cave where players can encounter the fearsome Terramorph creature.

Starfield is available now for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
