The Constellation organization in Starfield includes a lot of colorful characters. Few, though, are more colorful than Vladimir Sall, a former captain of the Crimson Fleet who managed to retire but got dragged back into active service by Constellation's leader, Sarah Morgan.

When players first meet Vlad on The Eye, they can discuss his history. At one point during this conversation, Vlad will mention that he has a villa on a remote planet. He rarely visits it, and so he gives players permission to check in on it and take what they like. This is only a side activity in Starfield, but it can be a rewarding one.

Where to Find Vlad's Villa

The option "Visit Vladimir's House" should show up on the activity log in the player's mission tab after speaking to Vlad. The text doesn't explain exactly where to find the villa, but players can select it to make it the active mission and then chart a course to its location.

Specifically, the villa is in the Syrma system on Syrma VII-a, the first moon of the seventh planet. Syrma is well beyond the borders of both the UC and FC, and it's near the right edge of the star map. This means the system has a high suggested level, but there are no dangers in Vlad's Villa itself. Just be ready to run if any random space battles begin during the journey over.

What to Do in Vlad's Villa

Starfield Vlad's Slates
The first of Vlad's personal slates in Starfield.

The villa is a peaceful place on a mostly peaceful world, so players can head straight over. A path leads up to the villa's front door from the left of the landing zone, but gravity is light on Syrma VII-a, so boosting is also an option.

The villa is full of expensive sculptures and other miscellaneous items players can take and sell. None of them are unique, and players will complete this activity as soon as they approach the house, but there are two things to do here that can't happen anywhere else: collecting Vladimir Sall's slates and taking his unique weapon.

There are five slates in all, and in them Vlad explains his life from when he started in the Crimson Fleet to where he is as Starfield begins. Players can collect them in any order, but they make the most sense when listened to in order. Here's where to find them:

  1. Between two blue chairs next to the pond out front.
  2. In front of the gold DNA sculpture in the conference room.
  3. Next to the weapon case in the living room/kitchen area.
  4. Between two blue chairs on the upper balcony.
  5. To the right of the bed in Vlad's bedroom.

To find Vlad's unique weapon, head down to the basement. The stairs down are directly below the stairs up. In the back of the basement utility room is a locked door, but the lock is only Advanced. This means any player with at least one level of Security and a digipick can crack it.

Behind the locked door is Vlad's safe room. On the desk in the middle of the room is The Mutineer, a rare.43 MI pistol that deals extra damage while in space but less damage while on a planet or moon. Its other stats may vary depending on the player's current level. Players can also find a random weapon in the weapon rack in this room.

Players can continue to search Vlad's villa for loot and valuables, but Vlad's backstory and unique weapon are the only real reasons to visit this location.

Starfield is available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
