Collecting resources and items is one of the most important aspects of Survival games, such as StarRupture. Usually, you need these resources to turn them into building materials that are going to be the core ingredient to expand your base.
In StarRupture, you need Basic Building Materials to build almost everything in the game. On the other hand, you can barely find Basic Building Materials in the open world. Instead, you need to craft them after collecting the required resources. For that reason, this guide will focus on helping players find the materials and craft Basic Building Materials in StarRupture.

How To Craft Basic Building Material In StarRupture
You can start crafting Basic Building Materials at the start of the game from the Orbital Lander in StarRupture. There's a Basic Item Printer inside, which you can use to craft Basic Building Materials. Keep in mind that before crafting Basic Building Materials, you need to collect the right resources.
To craft Basic Building Materials, you need to collect Wolfram and Titanium Ores. These materials are scattered all across the map in StarRupture. The best way to locate them is by searching for small rocks that represent their colors, or by mining an entire Meteorite. You can also find these fallen Meteorites all over the map, and you can spot them by the smoke rising from them.
Usually, a Meteorite will have patches of different colors on it, where you can mine it using your mining device. If you find patches that have the same colors as Wolfram and Titanium Ores, you can shoot them using your mining device, and it will collect Wolfram and Titanium Ores without destroying the Meteorite. However, it's best to completely deplete the Meteorite since it will drop a Meteorite Heart, which is an important material in StarRupture.
