The further you get into StarRupture, the more you'll need to make use of consumables to manage your health, hunger, and thirst meters. The last thing you want is to die of starvation or thirst just as you find something really interesting miles away from your base. Sulheart is one of the ingredients you'll need for different food recipes, and you'll also need it to unlock their crafting recipes. The problem is, Sulheart can be one of the trickiest plants to get in StarRupture, purely because of where it spawns. In this guide, I'll run you through everything you need to know on how to get Sulheart in StarRupture.

Master StarRupture with these essential beginner tips! From choosing your character to unlocking key technologies, we've got you covered.
Where to Find Sulheart in StarRupture
Sulheart can only be found in sulfur fields dotted around the surface of Arcadia-7. To find sulfur fields, you need to look out for large patches of bright yellow ground on the planet's surface, often accompanied by a gas being emitted from the area. I've included a screenshot of an example below.
Sulheart will be growing in this yellow ground, but herein lies the main issue with getting this plant. The Sulfur field itself emits a gas that causes corrosion to build up. Let corrosion go unchecked, and it'll begin to chip away at your health. As such, if you want to get Sulhearts, you'll need to make a quick run into the sulfur field, grab them, and then run back out before you take on too much corrosion and take damage.
Because dipping in and out of corrosive areas of the map can be particularly dangerous, I'd recommend bringing plenty of consumables that recover health and reduce toxicity. This way, you should be able to get more Sulhearts in one trip than you otherwise would.
What Are Sulhearts Used For in StarRupture?
Sulhearts are primarily used to unlock the crafting recipes (and actually craft) a range of different consumables in StarRupture. Unlike a plant like Serpent Root, whose consumables are primarily give Energy-buffing effects, Sulhearts seem to be used for all manner of food items, though they do tend to provide a tinge of toxicity to proceedings. I've listed all recipes that Sulheart is required for below.
