Kentum has announced a November 6 release date for consoles and PC via Steam. Developed by Tlon Industries and V Publishing, the upcoming Steam and console game combines familiar game mechanics, caustic humor, and inspiration from two well-known titles.
One of them is Terraria, a game released in 2011 that mixes elements of action titles with the freedom offered by sandbox games. Due to its success, other games like Terraria have been released over the years, with Kentum coming soon. Set in a post-apocalyptic Earth, players control Kent, an ordinary guy who was in suspended animation for 7,000 years. One day, he wakes up in the year 10,000 to discover that he is the last human alive. With only a stick and his robot companion, Kent must rebuild humanity while surviving the world around him, gathering resources, and creating a Satisfactory-style base. Kentum promises a fun experience in which knowledge is a big weapon, and players will be able to check out the game soon.

Kentum Challenges Players to Rebuild Humanity After a Nap That Lasted Too Long
Kentum will be released on November 6 for PlayStation 5, PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S. The new trailer shared by the developers showcases more of this dystopian game, such as the moment when Kent's space module enters the atmosphere. He then appears, collecting resources, expanding his base around the module, which is the heart of the construction, and exploring colorful scenarios with deserts, trees, exotic plants, and portals that Kent uses to go from one point to another.
Players must classify the animals, plants, and minerals they encounter, survive the changing seasons, and the hostile animals that inhabit the world of Kentum. If they die at any point, however, that will not be the end: Kent has been cloned, and another Kent will take his place in rebuilding humanity. Using the materials found, he must create and expand his base, whether by turning bone and wood into coal or machine scraps into sheets of metal. As they progress through the base-building game, players will use their hoverboard, hang gliders, grappling hooks, and more to explore locations, such as desolate ruins and vibrant forests.
Kentum was announced during the Latin American Games Showcase at The Game Awards 2024 and got a playable demo in February 2025. While the game is not yet released, gamers can check out the demo, which is available on Steam. It includes the first few hours of Kentum, allowing players to explore the starter region, diverse wildlife, and dynamic weather events.
