Reddit user Uwishuwereu posted a work-in-progress image of their custom DualSense controller, featuring a grey and green design inspired by Eve’s outfit in Stellar Blade. The controller includes several third-party components, like the buttons, D-pad, and both the front and back shells. Additionally, Uwishuwereu used waterslide decal sheets to replicate the text from Eve's planet-diving suit on the controller’s grip. The text includes the phrases “Retrieve all the truth” and “Devastating like lightning,” along with a Chinese slogan that translates to “faster-than-light” or “superluminal.” Uwishuwereu’s post, shared on PlayStation’s subreddit, has gained thousands of upvotes, with some fans even expressing interest in purchasing the controller if it became available.

When discussing their motivation to create a custom controller, Uwishuwereu expressed frustration, saying, “Growing up with the 360, we had entire dioramas printed on controllers. The Gears of War controllers had actual scratches on the plastic along with custom prints, even on the D-pad.
