While the story might not be immaculate, the combat in Stellar Blade is absolutely phenomenal. The game puts a lot of focus on the action side of things, and it shows. To make the combat more interesting, the developers have put a variety of enemies in the game.
Each enemy has a different attack pattern, which players must learn to earn a flawless victory. In some cases, skill alone isn't sufficient. Players must upgrade all of EVE's equipment, especially her blade, to beat enemies. However, the upgrades require certain materials, one of which is the Weapon Core. Naturally, these are hard to come by. But there is one way to get more of them.
Stellar Blade: Precious Treasure Walkthrough (Blue Monsoon Swimsuit Location)
Stellar Blade players can obtain the Blue Monsoon Swimsuit only after completing Precious Treasure side quest.
What Is A Damaged Weapon Core
As the name implies, a Damaged Weapon Core is not 100% functional. Due to this reason, it cannot be used to upgrade EVE's sword. So, one may think that these Damaged Weapon Cores are completely useless and do not serve any purpose. But it is not entirely correct.
Players can actually trade it for a working Weapon Core. However, they will have to take care of one thing first. Players will need to complete Plan to Clean the Earth side quest. This particular mission can only be completed in the Wasteland.
To successfully finish this side quest, players need to go to Scrap Yard, which can be found in the northern part of the Wasteland.
Upon reaching the location, players will have to help D1G-g2r by activating the machines. Players need to go in the following order:
- Ticker > Buzzer > Clunker
Listen closely to the noise generated by the machinery.
If you follow the correct order, the robot will be freed and open for business. After checking his shop, players will notice that it sells Weapon Cores.
To buy one, players will need to hand over two Damaged Weapon Cores.
Where To Find Damaged Weapon Cores In Stellar Blade
Damaged Weapon Cores can be found in different places throughout the game. They are dropped by the stronger enemies, such as Elite and Alpha Naytibas. Players can encounter them during their main and side missions.
These foes are stronger than the others, so exercise caution before starting the fight. It is always a good idea to carry a WB Pump for an extra chance of beating the enemy. Players should always upgrade their weapon, gear, tumbler, and unlock new skills to make fighting these foes easier. After claiming the Damaged Weapon Cores, head to the D1G-g2r's location and make the trade.
