Stellar Blade has many chests that require passcodes to open. While it may take a bit longer to find and open these chests, the rewards within will often contain useful high-tier upgrade Materials such as Polymer Materials and Nano Elements. Exploring to find passcodes can also help players stumble across other smaller chests to help stock up on the lower-tier upgrade materials.
Some of these chests may also contain the unique currency used by D1G-g2r back in the Wasteland including Micro Motors, Micro Drives, and Micro Coils. D1G-g2r is a unique merchant that will first need to be freed but will offer players with very useful items that are worth traveling back to get such as upgrade items for Eve's Sword and Tumbler along with Drone Upgrade Modules.

Where To Find The Destroyed Hypertube Chest Passcode
To find the passcode for this chest head north past the Oasis and the man finishing to Destroyed Hypertube. With the Buried Ruins Outskirt Camp on your right, head to the small area underneath the Destroyed Hypertube that Eve can walk under to find a robot. Destroying the robot and picking up the items it drops will give players the passcode for the chest. While the robot will try to run once it is attacked, it moves slowly and ultimately won't make it far. Just be sure to dodge before it explodes and deals a bit of damage.

Where To Find The Destroyed Hypertube Chest
To reach this chest, start back at the Buried Ruins Outskirt Camp and look up into the Destroyed Hypertube. Within the hanging remains will be two targets that can be shot to drop ropes. After shooting the targets look to the left and head towards the stacked crates with cloth on top. Climb the crate and use it to jump to the nearest hanging rope. Swing and jump from rope to rope until you must turn right and jump into the caged area underneath the Destroyed Hypertube.
After sliding down the chest can be found and opened with the passcode, dropping many Micro Motors, Micro Drives, and Micro Coils. Once the chest has been opened players won't be able to return the way they came as the rope hanging in the cage will only let Eve swing and not climb back up. Instead, look towards the Buried Ruins Outskirt Camp and approach the door that slightly blends into the rest of the cage around.
