How to Solve the Wisdom Puzzle in Stellar Blade

The Wisdom Puzzle request follows after Stellar Blade players have successfully overcome the challenge of the previous arithmetic problem, the appropriately named Simple Puzzle. Following a successful retrieval of the next Hyper Cell for Orcal, the bulletin board will once again have new requests available, and accepting the Wisdom Puzzle request will present players with a new conundrum to solve.

The details of the puzzle are as follows:

37#21 = 928
77#44 = 3993
123#17 = 14840
71#6 =?

At first glance, it can be pretty difficult to figure out just what the relationship is between the first half of the equations and the eventual answer, especially as the numbers get bigger.

However, there is a pattern that can be discerned if you were to look carefully at the first two sets of numbers that appear at the front. They all follow the general process of (A+B) x (A-B), which then leads to the answer. For example, (37+21) x (37-21) will give us the answer of 928.

Following this pattern, the answer that players should arrive at with the final equation is (71+6) x (71-6) = 5005. Upon uncovering the answer, head to the terminal near the starting area of Xion and enter the code to successfully complete the Wisdom Puzzle and prove you are more than just a Naytiba killing machine.

Back at the bulletin board, Stellar Blade players can turn in the request and get 1,000 gold as well as a decorative Queen of Arithmetic Badge in exchange for their hard work.
