Granted, there are usually plenty of ammo drops and ammo refill stations dotted around gun-only sections, as well as ways to increase the number of slug rounds that EVE can carry. However, for those who find themselves out of ammo mid-combat, neither of these things is all that helpful. Luckily for them, learning how to change ammo in Stellar Blade is.

How to Change Ammo in Stellar Blade

To change to a different type of ammo, players will need to aim down their sights and then hold Down on the D-Pad (or R, if they're using a keyboard) to bring up the ammo selection wheel. Initially, they'll only have access to Shells, Stingers, and Blaster Cells, but they can unlock Explosive and Shotgun Shells using Drone Enhancement Modules. They can also upgrade their maximum ammo capacity this way, or by equipping an Eagle Eye-Type Exospine.

Slug - The default ammo type in Stellar Blade.
Stinger - Fires multiple missiles after locking onto targets. The number of missiles per shot can be increased via upgrades.
Blaster Cell - After charging, fires a continuous beam of energy for a pre-determined amount of time.
Shotgun Shells - Ideal for close-quarters combat due to their wider spread.
Explosive Shells - Shots explode upon impact, dealing secondary damage to nearby enemies.

How to Increase Ammo Capacity Using Mods

For those playing on PC, it's also possible to increase EVE's ammo capacity using mods. Orcax1399's Carry Capacity Increase mod allows EVE to carry ten times as much ammo and twice as many potions, while also providing boosts to some of her basic stats. Alternatively, they may want to install LordGregory's 9999 Ammo Limits mod, which does exactly what it says on the tin, although they'll still need to scavenge or buy ammo in order to reach max capacity, which can be a bit of a chore if there are no ammo refill stations around.
