How To Own Farm Animals in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar
In Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, welcoming your first farm animal is part of your initial farming adventure. On Spring 5 of Year 1, Mayor Felix gives you a chicken as part of the tutorial. This teaches you not only how to name and care for your new companion but also introduces you to the joys of animal husbandry early on in SoS: Grand Bazaar.
Once the tutorial phase is complete, your ongoing source for farm animals becomes Ramon’s Critters, a dedicated animal stall at the weekly bazaar. Each Saturday, from 10 a.m. To 7 p.m., Ramon’s stall opens in the top-left corner of the bazaar, and behind it, you’ll find a field displaying that week’s available animals. The selection rotates weekly and can include chickens, cows, sheep, alpacas, buffalo, and their respective breeds. Baby animals usually have a lower price, but they also produce goods slowly.
At Ramon’s stall, you also have the option to breed animals. While breeding requires a fee, it rewards you with baby animals that you can raise on your farm. After about seven days of care, these babies will mature into adults and begin producing their own byproducts.
