What Happens If You Choose "Nah, I'm going home" in Story…

After the farmer arrives in Zephyr Town, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar players will quickly meet the Mayor. He will welcome you to the city and describe the Grand Bazaar – a marketplace that, in its heyday, brought in tourists from all over the world. The Mayor laments that it's not what it used to be, and asks you for help in returning the Grand Bazaar and Zephyr Town to its former glory.

When he asks, "what do you say? Shall we head over and get you all set up?", you can either continue with the intro to the game as normal by choosing "Sure, I'll give it a go", or "Nah, I'm going home". If you choose "Nah, I'm going home", you'll see a special cutscene that completely changes the trajectory of the story for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.

If you make the choice to select "Nah, I'm going home", the Mayor will rub the back of his head, then exclaim, "You're... Going home?!"

Confused, the Mayor comes to the realization that your character actually is not the farmer he has been waiting for.

He apologizes, says he should have asked before he gave his speech about Zephyr Town, then wishes you well as a tourist.

Your character will walk away from the town, then the camera will hilariously zoom in on the statue of the Mayor in the center of the Bazaar as the text "And so, [farmer] left Zephyr Town behind" appears.

Confirm, then another cutscene will play. The Mayor has been waiting in the same spot all day, and now that the sun is setting, he asks himself where the new farmer is. He has a bit of a crisis, anxiously trying to come up with reasons why the farmer never came, until he roars "I MUST HAVE FAITH!!!" To the heavens.

Abruptly, the game will fade to black, and you will be brought back to the main menu. Because you decided to leave Zephyr Town, your save will be deleted – start a fresh save file and create your character again!
