Which Flowers Should You Give To Maple in the Flowering Beauty Quest?
Maple, the bubbly maid at the hotel in Zephyr Town, is a romanceable bachelorette who holds a sweet spot in the hearts of many players. Her “Flowering Beauty” request requires you to bring 10 flowers for her. It sounds simple, but here’s the catch: the quest description states you can get her “Any Flowers”, which is not true. Foraged blooms such as Mint, Chamomile, and other seasonal wild plants that grow around Zephyr Town will not count toward the total.
Instead, Maple only accepts flowers that you have personally planted, grown, and harvested on your farm. To get started, visit Miguel’s shop in the center of Zephyr Town during business hours and purchase flower seeds. His inventory changes with the seasons, so you’ll always find appropriate flowers available for planting.
Once you’ve bought at least ten seeds, head back to your farm, plant them in your fields, and make sure they’re well cared for until harvest. The good news is that flowers are easier to manage than crops. They don’t require fertilizer and Maple does not ask for any particular quality, so as long as they’re healthy, they’ll meet her request.
The only thing to keep in mind is regular watering. You should water twice per day: once in the morning around 7–8 AM, and again in the evening.
Since watering runs on a time-based cooldown rather than a strict day-and-night cycle, keeping this schedule ensures that you won’t have to stay up late to fit in the second watering.
Once your flowers are fully grown, harvest them and make sure they are in your inventory or backpack when you speak with Maple. At that point, they will count toward the quest requirement, and she will happily accept them.
Finishing the Flowering Beauty request not only increases Maple’s affection for you but also rewards you with useful recipes, such as tea seeds, which can expand your farm’s production options.
