Crafting is a big part of Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. As you collect different materials, you can use them to make all sorts of useful items to help grow the bazaar. Players are introduced to crafting pretty early in the game.
In Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, you don’t craft items at a bench like in most games. Instead, all crafting is done at the windmills. That’s why it’s important to understand how they work. The guide below will walk you through everything you need to know about using windmills.
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar - How to Find Iron
Iron is a crucial crafting material in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. Here's how players can find it.
How Do Windmills Work in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar
Windmills are important for crafting in the game, but you don’t get access to them right away. At the start, all of them are locked. The first one you’ll unlock is the Red Windmill, and this happens pretty early in your playthrough.
When you meet Isaac for the first time, he will introduce himself as the guy who takes care of the windmills in Zephyr Town. He’ll explain that they aren’t working and then ask you to collect 10 Wood and 10 Rocks to fix the Red Windmill.
Both of these materials are pretty easy to find, so once you’ve gathered them, bring them back to Isaac. He will repair the Red Windmill and show you the basics of crafting. After you finish his request, the Red Windmill will be unlocked permanently, and players can start using it whenever they want.
To use a windmill, players will need to interact with it. Now pick the item you want to make, then choose how many of them you’d like to craft. Crafting does take some time, but on windy days, your items will finish faster since the windmill spins quickly.
After you’ve made some progress, Isaac will come back with another request. This time to unlock the Blue Windmill. During the quest called Seen Anything Lying Around, he explains that he has lost a windmill repair tool somewhere near a bench in the bazaar. Once you find the tool and bring it back to him, Isaac will repair the Blue Windmill for you, and you will be able to use it from then on.
Early in Autumn, Isaac will give players another request, this time for the Yellow Windmill. Before he agrees to fix it, he wants you to prove yourself by crafting 100 items using the windmills you already have.
The fastest way to do this is by making fertilizer. Once you hit the 100-item mark, Isaac will repair the Yellow Windmill, and fans will unlock it permanently.
