Stranded Deep is a survival game where the player finds themselves stranded on an island after an awful plane crash. They must try their hardest to survive; to do so, they will have to explore various islands and manage their resources as best as they can.
Rocks are one of the many available resources on these deserted islands, but they can be hard to come by, especially if the player isn't sure where to look. This guide will explain how gamers can find and collect stones in Stranded Deep.
How To Find Rocks
If there's a resource that players will be looking for right at the start of a playthrough, it's definitely rocks. Out of all the things players can craft in Stranded Deep, the stone tool will be the very first; this simple tool only requires one rock in order to be made, and although it's not great, it can come in pretty handy, nonetheless.
Rocks are scattered randomly throughout all available islands. They seem to be more abundant by the shore and next to bushes near the beach.
Players can also get rocks by mining stone deposits. When exploring the various islands, gamers will often come across stone deposits that they can then mine for a total of six rocks with a refined pick. To make this tool, the player will need to reach crafting level three and collect one stick, two leather, and two stone tools.
How To Use Rocks
Even though rocks seem like a basic resource, they'll always be necessary. There are tons of crafting recipes that require the use of stone; they're all extremely useful recipes to learn, and many of them need to be crafted so the player can craft something even more complex. Here are the various crafting recipes that require rocks:
