Stranger Things Season 5's Release Date Needs To Be Announced Shortly
Stranger Things season 4: part one premiered on May 27th, 2022, and part two premiered on July 1st, 2022.
Variety reported on this news on February 17th, 2022, which means fans had around three months of notice for part one and five months for part two. This was a good amount of time. Since Wednesday season 2 is coming out in August and September 2025, it's hard to believe that Stranger Things season 5 would be released at the same time. So, that could mean the new season will arrive in October, November, or December 2025. If Stranger Things season 5 comes out in October, then the release date should be announced in July at the very latest.
Since it's been almost three years since the season 4 premiere, it would be great if the Stranger Things season 5 release date was announced in May, June, or July 2025. Even cast member Caleb McLaughlin joked about how long it's been. Since there has been no news in a while and there hasn't been a teaser or trailer, fans need an update that they can be excited about.
Wednesday fans have been in a similar boat as they've also had to wait a long time between seasons, and the recent release date announcement and teaser trailer made fans happy. At this point, Netflix doesn't need to create any hype for the final season of Stranger Things because fans are already excited to see more of Vecna and go back to the creepy and dangerous Upside Down. But sharing the release date soon would give fans something concrete to think about.
