Netflix' s Stranger Things season 5 is going to be a huge event, and I'm definitely not the only one who is excited to see what seems to be the only potential conclusion: Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) beating Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and saving Hawkins, Indiana... And possibly the world. In the season 4 finale, Eleven ensures that everyone is safe for now, but Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) is in a coma, and no one is sure if she's going to wake up. It's been tough to wait three years to find out if Max will live, and fans have a long list of questions that they need answers for.
While some hope that the Stranger Things season 5 release date will be announced at the live event called Netflix Tudum 2025, there is a recent rumor about when the final chapter could come out, and I'm crossing my fingers that this doesn't come true.

According to Men's Health, the X account @MyTimeToShineH posted a rumor that Stranger Things season 5 might be released in three parts. This would mean that part one comes out in October 2025, part two comes out in November 2025, and then part three doesn't come out until 2026.
It's important to note that this is speculation and there is no confirmation of this rumor. At the time of this writing, Stranger Things season 5 has no official release date.
Since not everyone thinks that Stranger Things season 5 should be split up into two volumes, which was the release strategy used for season 4, releasing it in three volumes would be an even worse idea. It's been three years since season 4 part one was released in May 2022, and I think that making fans wait until 2026 for the series finale, or perhaps the last two episodes, would be a major mistake. Some are fed up with how long it's taking to see the end of the Upside Down's story, and many wish that the last season could come out in summer 2025.

With Wednesday season 2 coming out in August and September 2025, I think Stranger Things season 5 could be released in the fall of 2025, and some fans have tried to guess the exact date. Since November 6th is referred to as "Stranger Things Day" because Will Byers disappeared on November 6th, some viewers think that this could be when part one or part two is released.
