Vecna-Upside-Down-Stranger-Things-4

Almost every episode of Stranger Things Season 5 will be at least one hour long. Yes, that's right; you could say that every episode will feel like a short movie. The first episode of Volume 1, for instance, is confirmed to have a runtime of 1 hour and 8 minutes. The second episode, however, is relatively shorter with a runtime of 54 minutes. The third episode will be 1 hour and 6 minutes long, and finally, the fourth episode will flex an impressive runtime of 1 hour and 23 minutes. Netflix has also confirmed the official titles of the first four episodes of the fifth season:

  • Chapter One: The Crawl
  • Chapter Two: The Vanishing of...
  • Chapter Three: The Turnbow Trap
  • Chapter Four: Sorcerer

While it's hard to predict the meaning behind the titles of Chapter One and Three, it's safe to say that Chapter Two will focus on the true meaning behind Will's disappearance. At the same time, the official title of Chapter Four clearly hints at the return of Vecna.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will have eight episodes. Volume 1 will feature the first four episodes, and the next three episodes will be released as part of Volume 2. Finally, Volume 3 of the fifth season will feature the final episode, the ultimate finale of the incredible series. Also, don't be disappointed that the third volume will only feature a single episode, as Netflix teased that the final episode will have a runtime of over two hours. So the very final episode of Stranger Things will basically be as long as a movie.

While Volume 1 of Stranger Things Season 5 is almosthere, fans will have to wait a lot longer for the remaining episodes. After teasing us with the first four episodes, the fifth season will return with Volume 2 on December 25, and finally, the third volume will hit Netflix on New Year's Eve (December 31).

Of course, it can be frustrating for fans to wait another month for Volume 2 and 3, but honestly, watching the ultimate conclusion to this amazing story on New Year's Eve is kind of exciting. However, it's important to note that the exact release time for Volume Two and Three has yet to be confirmed by Netflix. Not only that, but the episode titles and exact runtimes for the next four episodes have not been announced. But we'll surely get more details on Volume 2 and 3 once Volume 1 is out on Netflix.
