Netflix released the first volume of Stranger Things Season 5 on November 26, and now, it's almost time for Volume 2 to grace our screens with the next three episodes. The first volume concluded with Will Byers finally taking the lead in this fight against Vecna. Will's power-up was surely one of the most surprising (and bold) twists in the entire series, and we can't wait to see how the creators plan on using Will's powers in Volume 2.
Volume 2 won't be the end of Stranger Things, because we still have one more movie-length episode remaining after this. However, one thing is for sure: the seventh episode will end with an e ven bigger cliffhanger, making it even more frustrating for fans to wait for the final episode. Anyway, let's focus on the second volume for now, which will be released on Christmas Day, but at what time? Well, here's all you need to know about the release time of Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2.
Stranger Things Season 5 Lost Me at 50 Seconds In
The highly-anticipated fifth season of Netflix's Stranger Things definitely gets off on the wrong foot and sets a bad first impression.

Netflix Confirmed The Official Runtimes For Stranger Things Season 5 Episodes 5-7
Each Episode Of Volume 2 Will Feel Like A Movie
A few days after the release of Volume 1, Netflix confirmed that the final episode of Stranger Things Season 5 will run for over two hours. Obviously, it's good that we're getting a movie-length episode to conclude the popular Netflix series. That's exactly what we expect from a finale episode. However, it seems Volume 2 isn't holding back on episode runtimes either. Recently, Netflix confirmed the runtimes for Episodes 5-7, with each episode over an hour long.
|
Episode Title |
Runtime |
|---|---|
|
Shock Jock |
1 hour 8 minutes |
|
Escape from Camazotz |
1 hour 15 minutes |
|
The Bridge |
1 hour 6 minutes |
|
The Rightside Up |
2 hours 8 minutes |
Of course, the runtimes of Volume 2 aren't as impressive as the final episode, but the second volume will still keep you on your screens for around 3 hours and 30 minutes. Each episode will feel like a feature-length movie, and while it's hard to predict the events, the episode titles hint at what to expect. "Shock Jock," for instance, will most certainly center on Robin and her love interest in the fifth season.
Then, we have "Escape from Camazotz," which will be around Max and Holly as the duo tries to escape Vecna's mind-prison. The episode might also reveal why exactly Henry is so afraid of the caves. Next, we have "The Bridge" that will likely break or shatter the bridge between two worlds. And then there's the final episode, "The Rightside Up," which obviously hints at the Rightside Up winning over the Upside Down. But this win won't come without sacrifices, so we'll surely see some heartbreaking deaths in the finale episode.
Overall, it's going to be an entertaining adventure, and we can only hope that the Duffer Brothers deliver a strong finale to such an amazing story that we've enjoyed since Season 1.
