A Street Fighter 6 player recently managed to beat their opponents while using a treadmill, showcasing a level of skill that not many gamers out there have. Despite Capcom’s new entry in the franchise being out for only a few days, the Street Fighter 6 community already has many dedicated players, and some of them are already becoming pros in the game.Street Fighter 6 is among the highest-rated games of the year so far. The game was promoted as the start of a new era for fighting games by its developer Capcom, and it seems to be doing well on that front. So far, Street Fighter 6 has managed to get a rating of 93 on Metacritic. With its new choices of both traditional and modern controllers, the game is accessible and hardcore at the same time, catering to different audiences. However, there is one gamer out there that ditched all accessibility and tried to play in the hardest possible way. One fighting game fan called Marc with a C recently shared an impressive video that shows how well you need to play Street Fighter 6 to make it to the top. In a short clip that was originally streamed on Twitch, the streamer TalesofMrE is able to beat an opponent using a fight stick while he walks on a treadmill. In a very quick fight, he managed to grab the opponent three times and scored a perfect K.O., all while playing Zangief, which is not even one of the best Street Fighter 6 characters out there, according to his slow reaction time and big hitboxes.
Interestingly, apart from being a somewhat small streamer on Twitch with less than 1,000 followers who focus on some of the best fighting games, TalesofMrE is also a Square Enix community manager. Players who visit TalesofMrE’s official channel can see the complete 42-minute video, in which the gamer fights a lot on the treadmill, winning most of the time, despite almost tripping once.
Overall, 2023 seems to be an excellent year for fighting games, and the success of Street Fighter 6 is proof of that. Mortal Kombat 1, for instance, is set to release this year, and even Tekken 8 may be out before the year is ended. This would mark 2023 as the year in which three of the most popular fighting game franchises were released, something that doesn’t happen very often.
Street Fighter 6 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
