Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series, taking place five years after the events of 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight. This open-world action-adventure game takes place in Metropolis, where the Suicide Squad — a team composed of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark — tries to save the city against the threat of Brainiac and his brainwashed minions. A month after its release, publiser Warner Bros. Discovery revealed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League had failed to meet sales expectations, with Rocksteady’s nine-year-old Batman: Arkham Knight beating its Steam player count.

Various PlayStation users have reported that Sony has refunded their purchase of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League following their complaints to customer service. Reddit user Tris, who originally posted a picture of PlayStation’s customer service confirming the refund of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, explained that they reached out to PlayStation’s customer service through the live chat on their website and gave numerous details about the game-breaking issues plaguing their experience. After further investigation, PlayStation issued a refund for this purchase. Some replies in the Reddit thread confirmed that they had also gotten their money back, while others claimed that their request for a refund was denied, so the decision seems to be made on a case-by-case basis.

Players who are not facing the game-breaking bugs reported by others are eagerly waiting for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 1 Update to add the Joker as a playable character. Due to the technical issues affecting the game, Rocksteady Studios postponed this Season 1 Update to March 28 instead of March 8. The developer said it is prioritizing fixing the various stability problems and multiplayer bugs plaguing the user experience so that all players can enjoy the upcoming content update.

Play as the Suicide Squad to take down the World’s Greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, is a genre-defying, action-adventure third-person shooter from Rocksteady Studios, creators of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. 

Featuring an original narrative set within an expansive open-world city of Metropolis, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League puts the four DC Super-Villains on a collision course with an invading alien force and DC Super Heroes who are now laser-focused on destroying the city they once vowed to protect. All the while, the Suicide Squad must be mindful of the lethal explosives implanted in their heads that could go off at the first sign of defiance.
